New Industrial Class 3 High Vis Hammond Drysuit

Hammond Drysuits launch the Industrial Class 3 High Vis Drysuit, an extremely robust high visibility drysuit designed for those who work in the construction industry and near water.
The drysuit is an evolution of the Hammond Industrial Drysuit, which is used by those who work in river and lake maintenance, fisheries, and culvert work. This model of drysuit is utilised extensively across the UK by the Environment Agency.

“The Industrial Class 3 High Vis came about when we were approached by an existing customer with a clothing conundrum,” comments Richard Dell Sales Director for Hammond Drysuits. “This customer has one of our industrial drysuits, but when high visibility is needed, he adds an additional layer to meet this requirement. He had a lightbulb moment, and the Hammond C3 High Vis is the outcome!”

Hammond Drysuits used their 40+ years’ experience and set to work to produce a drysuit based on the popular Industrial model but one that would meet Industrial Class 3 requirements. The drysuit is available in standard sizes as well as Made-to-Measure for the ultimate in comfort and fit.

Both the sizes of drysuit come in a robust Cordura outer and polyester inner fabric, this assists with wicking to help moderate body temperature. They utilise fluorescent and reflective material in accordance with Class 3. Bekina S5 safety boots are also fitted.

As standard, this model comes with a neoprene neck seal and heavy-duty latex wrist seals. Optional extras which are available with the Made-to-Measure include, neoprene wrist seals, braces and pockets. Both are available with CoreTek undersuits and Kevlar gloves.

The Hammond Drysuits Industrial Class 3 High Vis is designed for those involved in construction work, coastal defence, pier maintenance, viaduct, ground engineering, surface drainage viaduct and culvert work.
