Hammond Drysuits is exhibiting our range of made-to-measure drysuits and thermals at the RYA Dinghy Show on stand F38, from 2nd to 3rd March. The show marks the start of the 40th celebrations for us.
Since 1979 Hammond Drysuits, led by Brian Hammond and now his son Chris, have been keeping customers warm and dry when on the water. We are home of the made-to-measure drysuit, offering customers the ultimate comfortable fitted drysuit, where all the drysuits are made-to-order by the team in Dartford. If you own a Hammond Drysuits, you know exactly when the suit was made and by who.
The drysuits are distinguishable and often the choice of parents for their children as their children range of drysuits can be extended as the child grows, meaning the drysuit lasts more than just one winter.
Today, the message is still very much the same, they work hard to keep customers warm and dry, just like we did 40 years ago. In addition to new drysuits, our team repair all makes of drysuit, keeping their customers on (ok in!) the water and dry.
Hammond are making a plea to see your old photos of you sailing in your drysuit. “This is a very special show for Hammond, as a company will be marking 40 years since my father made his first drysuit, from his garden shed, many of our customers still recall this today,” comments Chris Hammond, Managing Director of Hammond Drysuits. “We want you to dig out your old photos and bring them along to the show. We regularly repair drysuits, some of which are over 26 years old, I’m sure there are more still going. Bring them along to stand F38 and you never know we may be able to find you some cake!”
