Adrian Brock, experienced scuba diver, has been announced as the third member of the #HammondCrew, our Ambassador Programme
Tell us more about yourself Adrian and your favourite spots to dive.
I have been diving now for 15 years. There is nothing quite like scuba diving along the British coast, especially when the visibility is good, and I can get some good photographs. I enjoy combining my two favourite hobbies, underwater photography and scuba diving.
What is your current set up when you go for dive?
My current diving equipment is the Hammond M2M (made-to-measure) HDS Prototype SD with Kubi System, the Hammond prototype CoreTeck undersuit, JJ-CCR, and my Nikon set up within an Easy Dive Leo3 with housing and Nautilus Group Video lights.
What’s been your most memorable dive?
Going back a couple of years now [coughs] to when I was 14 years old diving off the South West coast of the UK and we came across HMS Scylla, I have not had the opportunity to dive that again.
What’s it like being part of the #HammondCrew?
I have scuba dived for 15 years, and for 13 of those I have worn a drysuit from Hammond. I have never wanted to try anything else. The M2M is a must, a bad fitted suit is a real no go, and I don’t understand why people still go down that route. For the past year, I have been a test diver, and I have enjoyed every moment working with Chris and the knowledgeable team at Hammond.
I’m excited to see some of the new kit they guys are working on, I think they will be a real hit with the diving community, especially the new undersuits are the cream of the crop and I can’t wait to see the rest of their new Survival Wear range.
What diving adventures have you got planned?
I am hoping to expand my underwater photography, perhaps even a career change to make this happen. A couple of things for certain are that I’ll always go to sea with my M2M drysuit from Hammond and my camera as you never know when you might need one!
